These are two wonderful humans who are absolutely meant to be. They worked so incredibly hard to get to where they are today, supported so strongly by their loved ones. Their best friends, their families - everyone is in their corner. I always love to hear the stories of the couples over speeches and throughout the day I get to spend with them. I left at the end of the night with a feeling of complete satisfaction, so incredible happy that these two found each other.
The day started in the morning when the boys got ready at Chelsea and Travis's house in Walden and the girls got ready at Chelsea's parents home (which was, by the way, one of the most beautiful decorated homes I had ever been in). The couple had gifts prepared for their bridal party and it was in these intimate gifts and details that I got to feel just how close these two were to their friends and how much they meant to them.
The ceremony and reception were both held at The Saskatoon Farm. It was a sunny, crisp fall day and the light playfully shone through the tunnel as Chelsea walked down the aisle towards Travis. Ribbons hung from the alter, blowing gently in the wind as they read their own vows to one another and hugged immediately afterward.
This venue is one of my absolute favorites because the photo shoot can happen effortlessly on site - there is so much to work with. From a green house, to a barn, to a beautiful view of the Alberta foothills. I could go on and on about this wedding but I guess I don't really need to say anymore other than they served homemade Saskatoon pie and ice cream. Best night ever.
