I've said it before and i'll say it again - Coutts Centre is the best. I don't know if it's the type of clients who book there or the venue itself or a beautiful mixture of the two, but I absolutely love shooting at this location every single time.
Kaylee + Ty, with the help of their two boys Maksim and Asher, said "I do" on the most beautiful day at the beginning of June surrounded by their closest friends and family. There were so many things about their wedding day that I loved - starting with how dang chill the both of them were. Kaylee got ready in the "barn" and Ty got ready in the "chicken coop". It sounds hilarious unless you know the location and know how beautiful each of these buildings is. One of the best parts about the Coutts Centre is their numerous out-buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens and landscaping.
They walked down the aisle of the trees toward the ceremony location where all of their friends and family waited. The boys held hands as they came down the aisle followed by Kaylee being led by both her mom and dad. Ty stood at the alter waiting and smiling as his girl walked toward him. They both laughed and cried as they read their personal vows, Kaylee holding Ash on her hip for a good portion of the ceremony. There is something so beautiful about shooting a wedding for a couple who have already started a family. Not only are kids hilarious and 9/10 times MAKE the wedding photos, it's also pretty beautiful to see the path the couple has been on together to bring them where they are today.
After their shoot, Kaylee and Ty joined the rest of the party. They had a burger bar for their dinner and a chocolate fountain for dessert. Two beautiful speeches were given, one from the maid of honor, a life long friend of Kaylee's, and a rap written for them by Ty's brother, the best man, that was actually unreal. And almost immediately afterward Ty, who unbeknownst to me dabbles as a DJ, played a set for everyone. I am ALL about couples making their wedding day unique and personal to them and this wedding was so that. Ty changed out of his dress shirt and suit jacket immediately after the shoot and Kaylee followed suit toward the end of the reception before we went off to do their golden hour photos changing into her tank top and jean shorts.
I love this couple and their sweet little family so much and I was so honored to be able to be there with them and help capture their day. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day of!
